It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age series (2002-present). I always tend to get nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But I felt like this casting really delivered and nailed it. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that is perfect for this story. I too am always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this. Great pacing, adequate suspense, lots of comic relief. For once I wasn’t expecting the cliffhanger ending and every plot point seemed to be resolved by the last episode. I really enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new world of fast-paced streaming.
