Director Paul W.S. Anderson and based on a short story by George R.R. Martin, the story centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, plays a daring game: she sends the powerful and fearsome sorceress Grey Ellis (Milla Jovovich) into a haunted wilderness, lost lands in search of magical power, where a sorceress and her guide, the wanderer Boyce (Dave Bautista), must overcome and fight against both men and demons.
